Liviu Dragnea, sentenced to three and a half years in prison / He will soon be imprisoned
On Monday, May 27th, Liviu Dragnea was sentenced by the High Court to three years and six months imprisonment in the Teleorman Child Directorate fictitious employment files case.
The decision is final and enforceable. The panel of five judges upheld the lower courts’ sentence.
Liviu Dragnea will have to surrender to the police today so that the sentence can be executed.
This is Dragnea’s second criminal conviction, following the one in the „Referendum” case.
