Marcel Ciolacu: Putin is a war criminal, Russia committed genocide in Ukraine / We may have a speech by President Zelenski today in the Romanian Parliament

PSD President Marcel Ciolacu described Russian President Vladimir Putin as a „war criminal” and accused Russia of committing „genocide” in Ukraine. Ciolacu also said that Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski was likely to give a speech in the Romanian Parliament today, saying he was waiting for either the embassy or a briefing from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ciolacu also said that the PSD Calarasi organization sent the party leadership the proposal to exclude MP Dumitru Coarnă from the party after he visited the Russian Embassy with Diana Șoșoacă and two other ex-AUR MPs.

„Coarnă crossed a red line by having a dialogue with an aggressor state. You can’t have an argument for going to the Russian Embassy at this point,” Ciolacu said.
